Combining the strength of steel with the superior corrosion –resistant properties of thermo-plastic, since its introduction, TP-Pipes is, increasingly, being regarded as an attractive and economical alternative in applications where stainless steel was previously considered the only option.
Providing for an event that we hope will never happen, TP Pipes’ ability to contain puddled water for decades without corroding and still promptly deliver water to the hydrants and sprinklers in an emergency, make the product extremely attractive for permanent piping systems. A further, significant, advantage is TP-Pipe’s di-electric properties which make it ideal for many hazardous locations.
The pipes and fittings are joined together using quick couplings or flanges which eliminates expensive and time consuming welding.
The TP pipes are beeing used in applications such as permanent fire mains, dewatering, and for media with acid water, high content of chloride or salt. The products are also superb for high pressure applications.
